I have restored, for the last 35 years, Concours vintage 65/6 Ford Mustangs and show judged them as well. I understand perfection. I have seen perfection and it's the benchmark for my work daily. You cannot strive for perfection until you have seen and lived it. I can't say I have seen it all, but I have come close. I have experienced most paint deficiencies and understand the reason they exist.
Today's ceramic finishes pose different challenges than the predecessor acrylics. Keeping up with the latest trends, equipment/supplies and technology has kept me in the forefront of my industry. Don't chance your valuable asset in the hands of the inexperienced. I see the damage created daily and spend countless hours repairing it.
